mascara what to do…..?
okay so when i started wearing mascara i just went with the cheapest which is NYC and the price is cheep and so i get cheep product. it seems so to me. i pay $1.99 or $1 something cant remember and all the other brands are like 6 bucks.so im wondering is mascara really just mascara no matter what brand or what brush and how it comes out is in the way you put it on. and you know is it worth me spending the extra money if all the others ones are just like the NYC.cuz ive gotten into more of the brands and colors of makeup and experimenting for the past couple years and mascara is the only thing i don’t know what to do about.what brand do you use? and whats your though overall of mascara is it all just the same?

From my experience I can say that mascara isn’t just mascara. The size and shape of the brush and the formula used really does make a difference. The first mascara I ever used was Maybelline Great Lash (pink and green tube). I liked that, but I noticed that when I curled my lashes, it never held the curl, and my lashes would clump easily. I decided it was time for an upgrade, so I tried Cover Girl Great Lash (Orange Tube). It was okay, held the curl much better, but I noticed it dried up very quickly and would flake and smear all over my face after about a weeks worth of use. I am now using Maybelline Colossal Volume Express (Yellow Tube). So far this has been my favorite drug store brand mascara. It dries up after about 3 months, which is normal, and it DOESN’T flake all over my face. It also has a great brush which prevents clumping so I never have that spider leg look. I would recommend that one if you are planning on trying a new drug store brand.
